Jenna Rowles-Romito,
L.P.C., N.C.C., M.A.
Jenna is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and a
Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC) who has worked in various outpatient mental health, family
therapy, and domestic violence non-profit organizational settings for the past
17 years. She gained experience working
with children, adolescents, and families in the home, school and community with
a significant amount of time dedicated to Family Court Mediation with Allegheny
County employed as their Protection From Abuse Coordinator. A skilled negotiator, Jenna has advocated for
victim’s rights and instructed violent offenders on anger management and
behavior modification utilizing various Psycho-educational models.
Jenna received her Bachelor’s Degree from the
University of Pittsburgh in Rhetoric and Communications and her Master’s Degree
in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Indiana University of Pennsylvania
graduating with a 4.0 G.P.A.
Throughout
Jenna’s career in the mental health arena she received extensive training in
issues related to domestic violence, sexual assault, and anger management. Her specialty is working with women’s issues,
co-dependency challenges, relationship violence, depression and anxiety
disorders.
Jenna
provides Individual, Marriage, Couple’s, Family, Group and Animal Assisted
Therapy for ages 14 and up. She has been
happily married to local Monroeville Attorney David Romito
for sixteen years and is actively involved in her church, community theater, local as well as regional animal welfare organizations, and multiple
organizations dedicated to the empowerment of women. She is a proud supporter and contributor to
various agencies assisting the disabled and impoverished both locally and
globally.
